Please do more of the anthurium troubleshooting videos!! I love them so much, but the leaves are so gorgeous when the slightest thing goes wrong, I have a breakdown. Your insights based on what’s going on the leaves are unreal! Seriously, I’ve done so much googling and asking AI engines and nothing has compared to what I’ve learned in this video. ❤❤❤

36:11 my Clarinervium rotted yesterday after I repotted it in a more water retentive medium because I thought the now bigger roots would love it; it is the anthurium that's been so unproblematic to me that it has 8 leaves at once and none of them have any markings or leaf damage... now I realize it's because I've been treating it like my monsteras and philodendrons, and like you said, they prefer to be on the dry side. If it ain't broke, don't fix it :(

I've treating my Clarinervium for spider mites but after watching this video, I think it's fungus what I'm contending with. I will treat it accordingly---and keep an eye on the possibility of mites, because I had them recently on plants that Clari was close by.

Thank you so much Alice for sharing your insight on my struggling lux x crys hybrid. In hindsight having heard your analysis i do believe it was nutrient burn! I did fertilize it when i saw the new leaf coming in (before i repotted) w TPS 1 standard dilution (as i normally do w my other seedlings (however this was the youngest i’ve ever had) assuming there’d be no issues) and well now i know that’s a no no😫. I bought 4 days ago a anthurium clarinervium and it has created little yellow dots with a brown dot in the middle.
The only thing I did, I watered it thoroughly, changed the pot into a clear one, without disturbing rootball/soil, only picked it up and put it into the clear one, gave it a deco pot and put some moss around it's base because I heard it's good for them.
Conditions she is in:
65-70% warm humidity, right next to the humidifier, on a south facing window, temp 21-25°C and 40w full spectrum sansi grow light on it.
I couldn't find anything on Google, only here and there saying it's fungal but nothing concrete.
What is it and what should I do?
Please help, I wanna enjoy my anthurium, I am so sad 😩

Great video! I am fairly new to Anthuriums, so I love every advice, I can get. I’m so relieved, btw, to hear that I’m not the only one who struggles with the so-called easy and beginner friendly Anthurium, Clarinervium.
Is it possible to show you a picture of an Anthurium that I was given, but don’t know the ID on? I don’t think it’s a hybrid. It looks more like a birds nest type,, like maybe a Coriaceum perhaps.
Lastly I just have to tell you that I smile every time I see the name of your channel. It’s such a cool name 👏🏻😊. And I enjoy to follow you, Wildfern and Unplantparenthood, and not have to convert temperatures and measurements to get an understanding of plant care. I’m European 😊

I’m new to anthuriums and this video was truly helpful..I have 2 Pallidiflorums they are still seedlings but 2 leaves started to yellow at the end I started thinking maybe it’s going through shock or maybe those were the original leaves dying off 🤷🏽‍♀️ I did check the pot it’s in and the seedlings have lots of roots I’m starting to believe it needs a bigger pot I’m going to repot them tomorrow

Hi this was such a useful video. I have a different problem with the leaves. If you allow me to send some photos to get some advice I would greatly appreciate. I use to have problems with emerging leaves shriveling and dying. Took your advice and I think it’s getting better.
