So, Episode 10.

The awesome:
  • See best pic below.
The good:
  • Ass
  • Anal
  • Bella
  • The above 3 words in the same scene.
  • Big reveals/answers about Maya's (and Derek's) background.
  • Main events progressing the story (Jade's divorce, Tybalt's... situation, Quinn talking to the MC about dealing drugs, Bella talking to the MC about James, Zoey realizing she fucked up, etc.).
  • Some cool new songs.
The meh:
  • The Thanksgiving "party" was pretty lame compared to the previous Halloween and DIK parties. Some activities with the MC's main love interest might've made it better.
  • The characters are starting to look like each other. A lot. Especially the dudes. For some reason it was more noticible to me this episode.
The wat:
  • Don't you hate it when you go to the gym and there's always a random black dude telling you his life story, before he adopts you and starts training you to be the new Karate Kid?
Fuck this shit:
  • Having to wait a year for an episode, because:
  • Madam (I still don't get this anti-porn content).
  • Pointless minigames: fishing, math, English, etc. The minigames involving the characters are fine (party planning, hidden renders, Brawler), but why spend so much dev time on games that were already boring last century?
  • Too many branches and (new) side characters that eat up content that could've gone to the main girls. There a some exceptions to this, like Quinn, Riona, and maybe Lily (all of them connect to the main story), but characters like Madam, Nora, and Nicole are just a dead end.

I agree with a lot of what you said but "Too many branches and (new) side characters that eat up content that could've gone to the main girls" is a criticism DPC doesn't really deserve especially for a game with porn built around choice where many players are going to make numerous runs and saves. I feel the attention to side girls was something that improved the game not remotely held it back. Sometimes that content will be with a girl you don't like Camilla, Riona, Quinn, Sarah whoever but doesn't mean it's not worthwhile been there.

If he'd listened to complaints like that early on Riona, Quinn, Lily and Nicole wouldn't be the characters they are now or have branches, all 4 have grown increasingly popular precisely because they've had work put in to them and it's not like Sage and co became poor or marginalized characters over it. Even minor characters like Camilla don't hurt the game. It's not like the playerbase is even opposed to it I didn't see many thrilled time was saved by Tiffanni, Tara and Gina not been a scene. Outside Madame who was a massive swing and a miss because yeah she's hideous, none of the side girls made the game worse. I think the work on them made BAD better than if we'd eaten cheese with Bella, watched an extra movie with Maya or eaten sandwiches with Jill instead. Variety is definitely something I feel has worked for BAD on the whole.

Oh yeah, the girls aren't poorly done (except for Madam), but the issue I have is that the dev time also could've gone into more scenes with the main girls (or releasing the episode earlier). I'm also worried this might lead to too much stuff going on for DPC to keep track off. A lot of games have had the same problem; too many characters, leading to the dev giving up.

If there must be a traitor in DIKs, my guess is John-Boy. Because he is the only one without a photo of fucking Arieth for no good reason before the blackmail of Chad. He had a threesome with Elena and Arieth. Maybe they don't like to take photos when they fuck. It's okay. Maybe that's just a coincidence. But when I had this hunch I began to find some evidence when the cluck of nude Cathy being posted.

According to Rusty's testimony, We knew the laptop was found in the library. John Boy is the one near the library. Yeah... I know Nick was in the library. But we could hypothesize that Rusty took the laptop before Nick could find it so Nick still wanted to find the laptop in the library. John Boy's behavior and testimony have obvious flaws so my guess is John-Boy is the so-called traitor.

PS: But John Boy's account did comment on the cluck of nude Cathy. :unsure:

Didn't JB say he was looking for Rusty, but he heard somebody fucking in Rusty's room... so he left?

Don't know if he's telling the truth or not, but I'm just surprised the guys didn't ask each other where they were when the shit hit the fan... err... cluck hit the rooster.

Personally, I think it was one or two of the HOTs that were behind that. Maybe Quinn & Riona, but more likely Mel & Sarah. Those two work out at the gym with the Alphas, so they'd be in the locker room where Cathy's photo was taken. When questioning people at the party right after the pic was posted, they acted like they were sure it was the MC who did it. Maybe they wanted to get back at him for getting Chad ousted.

As I've said before, I don't think any DIKs are behind any of this shit.

Is it possible for Bella to find out who was cheating? It keeps showing in the ending card that she didn't, and I dont remember if I have a save where I didnt throw away the answer sheet.

Also why does this choice say "possible Cathy scene"?

Nope. Derek believes you are talking of toilet paper. As in he went to the toilet during the test and and he thinks you are telling him that he forgot to flush the toilet paper he used. So no, the test answers were not his.
