Eubank Jr isn't going to stop boxing. The reason he got into boxing in the first place was because of his father. That being said, he is campaigning for a noble cause. But, he should still stand in his son's corner.

Yup. Otherwise voluntary rehydration clauses put into a contract is certainly one of the things I hate most about modern day boxing. Which is why he's saying box but do it right, the rules are there for a reason. Even the ibf has increased their rehydration to 12lbs now for safety so this is dangerous for both fighters.

Regardless, he should understand that at the end of the day, taking the fight is his son's choice, and clearly it's a choice he wants to make. He can disagree with it, but regardless he should stick with him, and do anything in his power to minimise the risk to his son (e.g., helping him train, supporting him so he's not emotionally distracted etc).
